The Panel adopted a new pilot program at its December meeting, to fund training for at-risk youth while still in school.

The State of California’s Employment Training Panel awarded 28 contracts worth $13,467,170 million to train 11,659 workers. One of the contracts approved by the Panel includes $749,952 in renewable fuel and vehicle technology job training funds for Applied Materials to train 434 workers in the green technology sector.
