Trainees must earn at least the ETP minimum wage after they complete training and an employment retention period (generally 90 calendar days). The minimum wage varies by calendar year, county of employment, and type of trainee (retrainee or new-hire). Health benefits may be added to a trainee's base wage to meet the ETP minimum wage requirement.
