Pipeline Projects
Demand for ETP funding continues to be strong. There are 238 projects worth nearly $31 million in the ETP pipeline waiting to be funded. These projects have the potential to provide workforce training for over 29,000 workers in various industries. As discussed at the June 25 Panel meeting, ETP has begun the development process of projects with pre-applications and full applications that were submitted prior to closing the application process in November of last year. Our goal is to bring these projects to the Panel for approval over two or three meetings after the state budget is passed.
Additionally, with the approval of the FY 2010/2011 budget by the legislature and the Governor, and with continued stakeholder involvement and support, we are hopeful that ETP will have sufficient funding to re-open the application process for new proposals.
